SPRINGFIELD – It’s a pretty good guess that if the conference’s preseason player of the year is overshadowed by a teammate then that team is having a nice season.

Picked to win the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference by the conference coaches before the season started, the Gaels are close to making that prediction come true as they lead the MAAC with two games remaining.
